Leaders in Secure by Design

Bee.net’s consultants have decades of cyber security and risk management experience, across government, the regulated financial sector and international organisations. For the past two years, we have been the only team working exclusively to develop Secure By Design for the UK MOD.

We have the experience and expertise to be able to quickly adopt the new Secure By Design processes, offering effective solutions and outcomes for our clients.

Proven Market Success

We’ve worked on multiple Defence projects to align them with Secure By Design, and we’ve helped our clients save hundreds of millions of pounds, by delivering better capabilities as a direct result of improving their cyber security strategies.

Bee.net’s work across government includes Defence, law enforcement and transport. We cover the UK, EU and North America, and have experience working with household brands like HP, BT, Cisco, Cabinet Office, British Gas, Lloyds Banking Group, Airbus and the RAC.

Delivering Significant Cost Savings

Bee.Net draws on a rich background of consultancy from Defence, law enforcement and transport. We’ve helped our clients see the business benefit of good risk management, embracing the opportunities that arise from this and saving them millions of pounds along the journey.

Cultural change of Secure by Design

Bee.Net’s consultants have been at the heart of the cultural change in the UK MOD to deliver Secure by Design. We understand the key principles, the tools and techniques that underpin this new approach.

Drawing on this experience, Bee.Net is the only consultancy that can really help you apply the Secure by Design principles. We can drive strategic change in your organisation, putting you in a great position to win new business and demonstrate your cultural adoption of the UK MOD’s new cyber strategy

To ensure that future attacks do not have fatal consequences for both businesses and people, it’s vital that urgent steps are taken to improve security practices.

Increased UK Cyber Attacks

For the last decade, cyber attacks on the UK have been increasing. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the pace of these attacks has increased.

Increased NATO Cyber Attacks

According to the Microsoft Defence Digital 2023 Report, attacks on critical national infrastructure have doubled from 40% to 80%. Attacks assessed to be emanating from Russia specifically are now 90% directed at NATO countries.

Risk to Government Suppliers

Government contractors can also be a vector for attacks on Western countries, as was seen during the Covid lockdowns, where the US government was attacked via one of its suppliers, enabling the theft of significant data.

UK Government Cyber Strategy

The UK government must protect itself against cyber attacks, hence the £22 billion investment into the National Cyber Strategy in 2022.

Damage to Business Reputation

The impacts of cyber attacks have severe consequences, disrupting businesses and leading to reputational brand damage. UK government and its industry partners are essential in this battle against our adversaries.
